Savannah – Mr. Thad W. Sapp, 98, died Monday, September 13, 2010 at Hospice Savannah, Inc.
He was born in Glennville, GA on September 9, 1912. He was retired from Eli Witt Co. in Savannah where he was employed as a salesman. He was also a salesman at Livingston Drugs and Havana Tampa Cigar, Savannah, GA and Metter Drugs, Metter, GA.
He was a member of Primitive Baptist Church on Tibet in Savannah, GA.
His wife, Beaulah preceded him in death, as well as his parents, Ettie Lynn and Reppard Sapp and brothers, Hazel Sapp, O.D. Sapp and Earnest Sapp.
Surviving is a daughter, Teresa Wasco, SC; brother, Prentice Sapp of Savannah; two half-brothers, Russell Sapp and Otis Sapp of Jacksonville, FL; five half-sisters, Eva Martin, Eula Mae Lanier, Trudy Arbuckle of Jacksonville, FL, Bertha Todd, Bristol, GA and Laverne Harris, Jesup, GA.
A Memorial Service to celebrate his life will be at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, September 16th with Dr. George Dillard officiating at the graveside service at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens.
